THURSDAY EVENING CLASSES AT BLUE WAVE
STUDIO
33 East Concourse, 2nd floor Beginning Thursday, January 10: 6:15 to 7:15 - Beginner 2 Tango. This is a continuation of December's class or for those who have already learned the basics of Tango. 7:30 to 8:30 - Beginner 1 Swing. Swing is probably the most useful dance. No matter where you are, they're bound to play some Swing music! No experience necessary, just a desire to get up and dance. Classes are still $25/person for the four week session. SUNDAY NIGHTS AT THE CENTER 93 Main St., 1st floor Beginning Sunday, January 6 6:30 to 7:30 - Beginner 1 Rumba. No experience necessary. Rumba is a slow, romantic Latin dance. Good for working on your Cuban Motion! 7:30 to 8:30 - Beginner 1 West Coast Swing/Hustle. We decided it would be fun to introduce people to a couple of different dances. West Coast Swing is a slinky dance that's usually done to slow bluesy type music. Lots of fun. Hustle is usually done to older disco-style music. Usually, when we hear these types of music, we just do East Coast Swing. This will give you another option! No experience necessary. We're asking people to pre-register for the classes at The Center. Call Eva at 465-2088. Classes are still $25/person for the four week session. If you have any questions, call Bruce Olson at 861- 2723. |
