R. M. Tonge & Company Investments
197 Main Street
The Hanford Hotel, built around 1835 in Greek Revival style, was a boarding house. This building is the oldest surviving frame building on Main Street. The Waterville Hotel List featured on the right was taken from a 1910 summer camp brochure and lists the room rate of The Hanford as $1.00-$1.25 per night or $3.50-$7.00 per week.
Today the former Hanford Hotel is the office of R. M. Tonge & Company Investments.
